Do ark codes expire in 24 hours??!!

Just got this sent to my email and noticed the "*The code will expire within 24 hours." part. I don't have my copy yet, does that mean I miss out??

Any answers would be appreciated.


"REDEEM YOUR ARK HUNTER REWARDS

You've earned special rewards for finding and redeeming Arkfall Codes during ark hunter training! Now follow the steps below to claim your in-game bonuses:

1. Launch Defiance™

2. Open your Settings menu and select "Account," then "Link Account" (note: when you first boot up the game, the screen to "link account" should appear automatically).

3. Copy your unique code* from the "Link Account" screen.

4. Visit www.Defiance.com/linked and log in with your Ark Hunter Profile credentials.

5. Enter the unique code from your console and click "Link to your console".

6. Next time you launch the game (and after completing the tutorial), claim your rewards from the DEFIANCE STORE in your EGO Menu.

7. Go to the "Claim Items" section and select the Ark Hunter Reward you want.

8. Hit the "Claim Item" button and that item will be placed in your inventory.

You don't need to have the game installed to apply codes to your account.

they expire but you can get a new one apparently so don't flip out.

In my opinion I believe that means once you get the code from the game, you have 24 hours to redeem it on the website.
