"DLC" 3 outfits were ridiculous and ugly (imo), these are disappointing, so much they could have done with the futuristic western theme and this is what they come up with, guess it's better than ninja turtles or more power ranger suits but what a lack of imagination from this team... again.
Edit: there doesn't seem to be any difference at all between the "race" versions of the outfits so it's basically 2 new outfits with various recolors.
As you say, they could have done a little more futuristic, there is so much potential in the background of Defiance ... but as usual, they ruin everything.

I like 'em. Hope they're easier to get than the 7th Legion outfits since the Col. Sanders look would be perfect for a couple of my characters.

I initially responded to this with "I like them". I think I was caught up in how much I disliked the samurai garb. After some serious {well, you know} thinking and really studying the outfits I've come to this conclusion:
I do like them better than the samurai stuff. I don't know that I would ever have a reason to wear any of it. It all seems, so, formal. I feel like, if I were to be wearing it I would be attending the Grande Southern Ball.
I don't think its too late...Add a couple feet to that jacket, so it barely touches the floor. Add some wear and tear to it. Maybe a back flap. Do this, and I would buy it.
Pretty underwhelming really.
@ Shoog, dude that's not a poncho, not even a shawl, it looks like a scarf to me.
