99ers are the hardest for me at this point, primarily because of the smelter critspot (back) and their behaviour, as well as the drone buffing, and snipers.

They bring far more risk than any volge, or darkmatter (non-withstanding soloing 5 bombers inside a minor arkfall).

If you melee the smelter first he'll spin round and you can get his crit spot.

Yeah, but 3 of em' have already run up and flamed me while I'm headshotting that GOLDRUSHER, before I can pistol whip em. Little buggers!

They were nerfed because every unique snowflake who plays this game deserves a trophy.
Just like real life is getting to be.

My personal opinion is that there are some things that are just hard, and when you bought the game it was nowhere implied or stated that you're good enough to actually survive the game.

This is from someone who's main-battle-toon in game hit E-4538, can't drive in an ingame racing event and hasn't yet even TRIED to b!tchslap Jackleg Joe.

    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

You've never completed the main story mission line?

    I enjoy sandboxing.
I've created a clan full of 'toons to play different scenarios.
I have some that only use BMGs or INFs.
A few working on only sniping to see how low of an EGO # I can make Assassin and Tank.

    Stuff like that.

You can do lots of things with multiple accounts.

I'm one who's know for playing games for YEARS and never playing the main story line (MORROWIND, OBLIVION, FALLOUT, I'm looking at you). I find it disappointing in most cases to finish the main story... the sandbox is where it's at.

BTW, is it just me, or did DARK MATTER get a big nerf too? I remember before I went on hiatus that they usta be a challenge.

A platoon of DM still eat my lunch on a regular basis.

But in general, I think almost all the badguys took a spanking from the nerfpaddle.

There are the rare instances where the difficulty of a specific event is still dialed to '11'.

    Agree with crasher onthis. I think most all baddies got spanked with the nerf-paddle. I say most all, with a few exceptions;

Dark Matter Snipers - Health was decreased but I believe their accuracy was buffed. Those damn things can take my head off though a jekkin' concrete wall on some days!

Volge Bombers - Again, their health was tampered with, but that damned "pink rain from hell"!

I tend to snipe the snipers BEFORE they snipe me (they are always a top priority), but I admit that sometimes "cover" in this game doesn't work at all, and you'll still get poped. I'm one of the few running CLOAK still, it's almost a get outta jail free card when it works.

As for the VOLGE BOMBERS, if yer the only target of a group of em', yer hosed. I recently spent 15minutes soloing a minor arkfall full of bombers because I refused to quit... holy crud, I'd get pummeled before I could even get back on my feet again.

    Pink rain from Hell!
