i need HOPE. is there any for Defiance?

Everyone who plays Defiance and has a great love for this game and plays as fervently as we do gives hope to players.
The COMMUNITY helps to keep hope alive, with the stories and the memories of what we had and what we have done.
Like the 15/15/15 Death March during Extra Life, or the time Mr. 666 traumatized seven 13th Dragoon shooters in PvP over and over singlehandedly.
Vets have seen this forum go from a huge community; thriving with topic after topic ranging from "what kind of music do You Ark-hunt to?" And "why is Nim such an S.O.B.? And why can't I kill him?".
So many folks have gone.
Rydda, the folks in this thread give me hope for the life of the community and Dawn Patrol give me hope for always having friends in-game and running and gunning to do and never getting bored.

It is really difficult to avoid being cynical and to stay positive here.
Elastik was sort of saying that. Seeing all of this kind of fall down over the past year (almost) is kind of sobering when You look at the great potential of Defiance. We have seen the management team handling the game turn over, the creative team turn over, the staff get slashed down and relocated and then our community liasons grab some life preservers on almost the same day and show us "deuces!" And POOF!!! Elizabeth and Greg were gone.

I want hope for the game.

Can you tell me something that might help? Or make me believe that "Dr. Dempsey's Snake Oil" will fix everything?

I don't want to convince You otherwise at all, it is easy for new players to catch up!

I wish my power would come back on! It's Saturday night at 11:55 pm and it went off Friday morning at 4:30 am or so.

You clearly dont post a lot.
No idea how much time you spend reading the forums.

My point though is not the content, but the names.

The first few months of the game there were hundreds who posted every week, hundreds of different people flooding this place. All the time.

Then many started saying the same things about broken stuff not getting fixed, and no communications from The Powers That Be.

Now, look around.

We have a handful of people to a dozen.

Topics don't roll off the front page forever.

We're the tough bastages who held out, held on, and hang in.

just because I dont dont post alot doesn't mean much I do look in to what you guys post. Yes I was around for the first months an yes I agree but i know that trion would do something about it.
As you can see the communications will be getting better soon. I look around not just the bad thing there is good stuff to.
I do see people come an go that will all ways happen do really expecting poeple to stick around there will be new players if they are friend's of mine good players yes im going to try to talk them out of leaving but its up to them. Im just saying there is more to it then just a game will you ever look back and remember good and funny moments playing with friend's or will you be one that forget it hate trion move to a game then what come back and see what has been changed.

Adapt life is not fare nether is the game. The game will get better it will this is something that will not drop over nite.

Like I mentioned to Bonehead and Crasher... I have seen some self defeating things in my life, but this forum might just take the cake. It appears to me that many here share the same brain, and if you attempt to use your own and/or disagree with anything, you will be flamed. It's pretty darn sad.

People should never let a game or a game developer get the best of them like this one seems to do to so many.

I believe its not who is it is all of us the community they will not hire people to find issues with the game that is are job to let them know we are on it daily we as a community need to help and wait till trion have time to get it done the pc, ps3, xbox on there own servers so they have a lot on there plates I believe that they are over loaded with stuff to do, now if all platforms were togather it be different less difficult for them.

Amack, they haven't gotten the best of me.
Like many other players, I will play Defiance until the servers are turned off for good.
I love this damned game.
What is a heartbreaker is the vast potential available and yet we get re-skins and add-ons in place or proper DLCs.
That makes me wonder if there is any hope for the game that we love.
There is hope in the community: caring people, fan fiction, active clans and players who won't stop, forum posters that pester the company endlessly and many other things.

But what will OUR GAME bring us......?

No developer has gotten the best of me.
