Getting in the passenger seat in your car.

As the title states. Why did the developers allow it so we can jump in the passenger seat and do nothing. We've all done it pressed square on the wrong side of the door only to find out we're on the wrong side and have to get out and run closer to the driver door. It would be nice if say we did and our friends or group members could drive our cars for a little bit, but nope can't be done. This may seem like a small matter at the time, but I would really appreciate if this issue could get looked at.

I just thought it was a glitch and kept respawning the car until it worked... now I feel like an idiot.

Oh my god I have done this SO many times and had no idea what the hell was going on!
I actually dont mind that it's there now that I know why I keep jumping in the car and not being able to drive it anywhere!!
