These are not "hidden codes" from the videos and such are they?
Yes they are
Some are hidden and others are obvious.

How will unlocking codes affect those of us who have never logged into the game yet have a forum account? Does the user's primary platform (PC/PS3/360) have any effect on this?
You'll get the rewards for the platform you play on.
I'll get some clarification tomorrow if you play on multiple platforms - not sure what will happen then.
