    10-15 Second Latency

My game has this long of a latency, regardless what I do. If I shoot and kill someone, takes this long for them to actually fall. Switching weapons? Same story. Getting on and off my vehicle? You bet ya. Everybody keeps saying "Launch day, expect issues" but there was a beta for a reason. I'm dealing with this, been kicked off at least a dozen times, and can't play with my friend because his patch is still going from 6 hours ago. Launch day is expected bugs, but this is a little much. Servers should have been ready to handle this. I find myself putting my controller down, doing other things, moving around to see if it's been corrected only to find I still have to wait. I've been defending the game all day, but i'm growing tired of doing that.

A game unplayable due to latency issues, inability to claim in game rewards, enemies casually disappearing in arkfalls and getting completely kicked off the server semi-frequently? You see those as bugs, I see those as major problems. There are many people who have had the game all day, and still yet to be able to play it, still see that as a bug?

Have you ever played a mmo before? Things never run smooth on day 1.

Oh, because you put MMO's on a tier of excellence, this is just ok? It's a paid product, which is not working correctly. It doesn't matter what genre the game is, that should in no way give it more leniency than another title. There is a difference between "running smooth" and absolute inability to play the game. I'm playing on a console, which is designed strictly to allow working game titles to be played. I purchased this game with the intent to play it. Issues found in the Beta haven't been acknowledged, and as a consumer, this concerns me.

I anticipated all of these issues happening, I went and installed and patched the game on all my xboxs at home and play for a couple hours. Just give them a chance to try to maintain these servers. Think about all the people who paid for call of duty elite when that first came out. It didn't work worth a damn on the first day either...

No it did not, and that was thoroughly expressed by the community. A frustrating product doesn't really make people think "I'll just be patient, and hope things go well".

I just suggest you give up on trying to play tonight and try it again tomorrow. I hope you will notice a vast difference

I have been playing all day with no issues. And yes, we can give Defiance more leniency than any other title on xbox, it is the first mmo game in a very long time. NO other xbox game that is still actively played or supported is like this. mmo games in general on any platform have issues no matter how much testing they do. We are not talking a kiddie game like cod here where there are what, 16 people playing together at once? We are talking 100s - 1000s of people all playing together in the same world. Now times that by how ever many different shards there are. mmo games are unstable, especially during initial launch, maybe you should have done some research before you bought the game.
