Why is this on PC?

i thought this was going to be a kids rage post, but he makes some damn good points. Since Trion Worlds was in on this venture i thought better of it, but well played guys, you lost all credibility from me for your future games because of these issues, and not just the problems occuring from launch, i dont want to be unreasonable. its the fact that you allowed the game to be sold at its current level, with no foresight or care for the player markets you aimed at, especially pc gamers. and also the very limited and lacking technical support to inform players of your problems and solutions.

keep ignoring it, it will go away im sure. so glad i pre-ordered this game i cant play.

I'm gonna put my big spoon behind this - as an avid PC gamer, and very much into not just MMO's but every game, I feel very let down by this. Actually scratch that, I let myself down, because I played 2 beta's and despite not being happy with the overall PC version, I still purchased it :/ Silly Spoon. I've fiddled around with nvidia inspector and got the game looking as best it can, and with the 120hz quick fix I can actually play and access the settings menu and subsequently exit the game properly.

I just want a damn FOV option over most things, the game might as well be First person with how close the camera is to my character - hell I would love this game to be either FPS or 3rd person like Firefall - which is a fantastic fun game, and has real PC options. I guess these dev's just make my decisions easier and easier when they release half finished games.

lol I have surpassed the kid rage level! In all seriousness, this needs to be addressed. You want another good example of why this is not PC friendly? In order to quit the game via the game menus, you have to push escape to get a random menu, hold spacebar to open the EGO wheel, and click Exit Game in the top right corner and even then, it hard crashes instead of closing down quietly. This is useful and productive in what way? The menus alone are enough to make someone have an aneurysm. Hopefully we can hear from the dev team as to why they shafted their PC community. Just to let you know devs, these are all fundamental basics that should have been ironed out through proper QA and the Alpha and Beta testing, so you guys have quite a serious issue here. This is not something you can simply say, "Oh, well uh, we forgot" because there are a bunch of people that reported these problems not only today, but during beta as well. I am talking about a genuine apology and promise to fix these issues. I am not trying to attack the dev team, I just want answers as a consumer as to why I received a broken game.

Awww look at you guys atleast you can actually login and play the game; no seriously this is just horrible I can't even log in to the game, I enter my email and password with the authentication code and the game tells me that my login details are incorrect but if I remove the authentication code, it tells me that my account isn't entitled to play the game. Like what the **** is this crap!? did I waste £35 for this!?

Basically you did. If you got this game on a console, I could see it being alright and somewhat playable, but not on PC. This is nowhere near bare minimum acceptable levels.

Something else that really blows my mind is the issue with keybinds! Every single time I log out and back in a large number of my keybinds have reset and I have to set them up again. Since I play with the arrow keys ( I know i'm weird) I have to remap a large number of keys each time. I have even gone looking for .ini file which you would think there would be one with the keybinds but the only file I found was called placeholder.txt found in the keybind folder.....?
