    Is that a serious question?

I think the point being driven here is that other games that are purchased in store to be played online only and have online stores using their ingame currency equivalent of bits are having new content injected into them on a regular basis and for free. To my mind you need to invest more, by that I mean hire more staff, dev's, graphic design, interact with sci fi and hash out content that can be produced and added to drive more spending by players. IMO the only thing that's happened with this DLC fiasco is to tarnish the Trion brand in the gaming community.

First it's b2p, some of us bought this game more than 100$/€.
Many of us already invested in the game when they bought the season pass.
We invested and we got nothing.
Sorry, it's false, we had 3 green crappy weapon, 2 crappy outfit, and wonderfull titles.

So true, been playing since day one, beta even. Bought the first three "DLC'S", a bunch of in store bits for inventory and gear. But with the lack of actual content and game improvement have not bought the wild wild west dlc, and sadly looks like this last patch will dissaoit just as hard.

i agree they should charge for dlc's to be able to keep servers up, buy if they are calling it a dlc they should have actual content in it not just a bunch of fixes or changes to the game. also they should not make any changes that are in the so called dlc's playable by people that do not buy it, that way it's actually fair to the people that have bought it. at least they can say they paid for something even though it is not actual content. why pay for something if you can get it free anyways.

I'm not sure it's going to matter much anyway.

It looks to me like most of the player base is already gone. Trion could release a DLC
with ultimate server stability, scaling weps/skills/etc, cross-cueing between the three platforms for more competitiveness, and everything else we as players have ever asked for, annnnnnnddddddd......

...It wouldn't matter. We've moved on. Trion, you're a year late and many dollars short...In this last week I've barely logged on at all. When I did (PC NA server), it was a good 15 minutes before I saw another player in-game. (On a side note, old San Fran is creepy as hell when you're all alone down there...just sayin'...)

I've already said elsewhere in these forums that I'm not buying DLCs 3 and 4---I'm not going to reward Trion for laziness. DLC5 seems to have some good buzz, but I just don't care. Trion's Lucy is not going to get this Charlie Brown to kick that football any more.

I've moved back to SW:TOR and been giving Titanfall a go...also registered at RSI Industries website. Not sure how well a crowd-funded MMO is going to go but I'll watch it closely...

I feel kinda bad for Kiwibird. Congrats man...you've just been made captain of the "Titanic". For your first order of business, ya gotta do something with those deck chairs; the deck angle's making them get all out of order.

Whatever happened to BUYER BEWARE. OK, so you spend money to play what others play for free.
A fool and their money is soon parted.
Yes, I purchased DLC's to get access to other content. The difference between me and the topic of this thread is that I wont blame any one else ( Trion ) for the way I spend my money.
In modern warfare, overwatch is the state of one small unit or military vehicle supporting another unit, while they are executing fire and movement tactics. An overwatching, or supporting unit has taken a position where it can observe the terrain ahead, especially likely enemy positions. This allows it to provide effective covering fire for advancing friendly units. The term overwatch originates in U.S. military doctrine.

'Buyer Beware' can be interpreted as 'The guy you're buying from is dishonest and shady. Count your fingers after you get your change."
Is that where you were trying to take this thread?

How's about we just go with:
"The difference between me and the topic of this thread is that I wont blame any one else ( Trion ) for the way I spend my money."

    Means:
'I don't mind being sold one product, receiving a different one, and just rolling over, because it's not Trion's fault that they delivered something other than they represented. It's my fault for expecting anything.'?

    OK.

It really felt like Trion tripped over themselves with the Season Pass and promising so many DLC's within a certain amount of time. It felt like they kept a bare minimum staff in order to piece together reskins, and one or two minor new things in order to pass it off as DLC. As the DLC's progressed, very little to no content was released. It all felt like bug fixes, and reskins. No real content what so ever. Just enough to call it DLC and mark off one of the promised releases.

Each one that gets released has a flood of angry and frustrated posts. The game itself can feel like a train wreck with all the bugs, and broken mechanics. However, it's one that people are addicted to. Personally I did not buy the pass, but I have bought the DLC individually, and have felt regret after the 20-30 mins of "new stuff". I can understand the frustration though, as I have felt the preorder curse in the past.

My real concern is what happens after DLC 5 comes out, and they have fulfilled the Season Pass holders. Will they add anything in the future, or will they just do minor fixes here and there and let Defiance fade away?
