I don't see the problem with the waves of enemies during the new arenas, Defiance is an Open-World Shooter MMO, there should always be tons of enemies to shoot.

When they said "new arenas" I was kind of expecting NEW arenas, like DLC 1.

i'm guessing that OP is talking about DM Bunker arena. the mob spawning algo there is a f'n insane, tbh. the only arena few of us solo for DLC4 storyline. (i couldn't, btw)

No one said they were smart, if they were then half of them wouldn't just charge at Ark Hunters in the first place and the other half would communicate effectively to gun Ark Hunters down.

That's what Trion should really do with the Arenas, send timed wave after timed wave of smart enemies, have enemies move in squads providing covering fire and support. Then Trion can have hack-able turrets scattered around the Arena for additional support for both sides, hell maybe even activate a communication unit to call in a squad or two of E-Rep soldiers.

Oh. To be honest I didn't get very far with dlc 4 because I was getting too frustrated with the missions. But still, so there's only 1 new arena out of 9? Still ridiculous.

Play them in groups if possible. I have gold in 4 so far and 3 of those were 2 manned. Now to finish the last one, then consider getting gold on the rest.

That arena is insane to do alone, don`t really know how i did it

That arena was fun to do solo. The only thing that sucks is it's really hard to get gold solo. I got gold on that one with 1 friend. It's easier with 2 to keep the x3 multiplier going.

It does suck that you don't get any keys for doing it, oh wait you do gtet 1 if you get gold. I don't know but 100k should be 20 keys. I would do them alot more if that was the case.

I have gold in 5 right now. Need the first 3 and the docks one that takes place in ( I can't think of the name ) it is one of the pvp maps though.

The areans do suck though. After you get gold in them all there is no reason to go back in there.

They implemented a new scoring system to go along with DLC4, and the only place it doesn't work is in DLC4. The time and effort to get gold is wasted for 1 key.

Otherwise, why would they have released it like that?

I mean, video games are 'written' on computer, now.
Computers keep track of all kinds of stuff, and they can trial run situations for thousands of iterations in all kinds of stress-testing situations 'til the pows come home.

So anything they release is by definition:
'Working as intended'.
