Just in case this helps, I am connected to the internet through Comcast xfinity high speed cable internet. And the cable modem/router is made by SMC. Just to see if we all have something in common. Also I have the Xtreme connection 65mbps DL speeds. so its definitely not my connection.
I thought it might be account thing as well but it didn't seem likely. I also have Comcast Xfinity internet. I considered trying that DMZ thing but from what I understand, it is basically just a solution in case my internet is blocking the ports or something. So in theory, disabling firewall should do the same thing, right? I disabled my AVG and firewall and nothing worked so I figure a DMZ solution won't work either.

EDIT: Also they just hit us on Twitter with an acknowledgement that for some people this launch has been a **** show, so my temper is calmed a little. All I wanted was some recognition and we got it. But yeah, our issue might be our routers as I said before.
Where is the acknowledgement? I couldn't find it on their twitter page.

Come on we need a solid answer.

I just once wish devs would care enough for the consumer to want all of us to enjoy their game. I have been playing games the past few weeks from horrid devs. Sim city, war z and now this.

Can the devs give us a solid answer to the problem.

    Take heart comrades!

As I stated in another post that got bumped down, here are several temporary fixes for you!

For those of you stuck hitting "Try Again" on the splash screen:

    1. Make a DMZ: Some have claimed that DMZ-ing your PC will let you into the game.
Instructions on how to do this can be found here: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/de...-to-make-a-dmz

    2. Use a free VPN For those of you on a university network (like me) DMZing is not an option. Download a free VPN (I recommend Hotspot Shield or VPN One Click) and then try connecting. This is how I was able to bypass the error after being stuck since launch.

    3. Call your ISP In another post, Ryl claimed that he was able to bypass this error by calling his ISP and having them change his security settings to low.

While all of these solutions are only temporary bandaid fixes, they may help you get in game for now. Note that all of these solutions also increase your PC's vulnerability to outside threats, so use them at your own risk.

Hope this helps someone, I'll see you all in game.

only been 6 hours of straight no service

Gotta love when games have betas, and still arent able to be ran the first day. Most of the start up issues with connectivity should have already been fixed. I mean its not like they dont have enough money from previous games to make sure their servers can handle the capacity and to make sure that they can have a game people can play. I mean really bought the game not like i can return it because its already opened but i have very little hope for this company. Way to show you know what youre doing by having the game down for the majority of the release. Kudos. on a side note the little i did get to play was fun.
