Any other advice on this? Tried everything I could think of.

So, I was calmed a little bit by the fact that they at least announced that they recognize there are issues, yesterday. However, since then, I see no updates. The patch that hit didn't fix anything that I would personally consider overly important. Of course that's just my opinion.
Yet, it is now *almost* a full 48 hours after launch, and not only do I have yet to be able to play the game, I have yet to see a single response from the support team about Xfinity users and our issues therein. If servers were crashing and no one could get in, I'd chalk it up to another Error 37 launch, and say "**** happens." However, most people seem to be happily enjoying Defiance, while I, and a group of others, are sitting idly by in the darkness, awaiting the ability to use something we purchased almost 2 days ago (or before for pre-orders, but that doesn't matter as much as the game wasn't out.)
I digress. When is the point that I should feel morally justified asking for a refund? I've never experienced something like this before. I've tried every single potential option barring DMZ and VPN, because I don't have access to my router's log-in, so dealing with it from that standpoint is rendered moot for me. However, I have tried opening all ports, turning off my firewall, opening the specific ports the website mentions, etc. I've tried both the steam client, as well as the client directly off the Trion website. I've tried EU and US servers (but I'm US, so that's what I really want to work). I'm just irritated at the fact that while Trion did say that their staff is in full and working overtime, I have yet to see much movement from them here on the forums, or on Twitter, barring blanket updates that basically just say "yeah stuff is bad, we're fixing it." What stuff is bad? Why are Xfinity users having problems? Can you identify those problems? If not, do you have any recommendations for us on the user-end to try? These are the types of questions Trion needs to be specifically answering. Why do I use the word need, and not should? Because this is a business selling a product. I have payed for that product, and it has yet to be delivered. Under any other circumstance, whether it be eating food at a restaurant, buying paint at Home Depot, etc., if I was in this situation with other product types, I'd either have my money back, or a working product by now, followed by an apology. Now, while gaming companies should be held to the standard of any other company, I don't even need all that crap. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, assuming they can at least answer some of those basic questions. Someone's got time, if not the CM, then an intern. Someone in their 150 person staff (I think that's the number they through out in the forum post), has the time to sit down and shoot a couple updates. Where are they.
I'd like to bump this again.....It's now the FIFTH! I still can't even come close to logging in. My post before this stands. We want answers. Even if those answers are "not sure yet, hold tight." Just say that! Hate being in the dark. I payed 60 bucks, not to be in the ****ing dark.
man...i hope they figure it out soon..... so boring only playing your game for 2 minutes before you get kicked out of the server.. i have to admit.. yesterday before the xbox crash it was great!... got to play for about a few hours... then back to how the 2,3, now 5th are... un-able to even move my character in the game world without it giving me that stupid Critical..
give the server a smack or two.... always seems to get some electronics attention if you beat it in the face once or twice.... AHAHA JK
So when you get in you get kicked every 1-2 min, says Timed out connection?
nah just gives you the Critical Prompt saying the Defiance services is unavailable
same here ive had the game for 5 days and played for 0 days . cannot download patchs abort download
I was able to play fine when I went home for Spring Break...but now that I am back on campus (using Xfinity), I am unable to log in like the rest of you. I really do hope we can get this fixed soon. Being able to play, then no longer having the ability to is such a tease.
