So how'd you all like your first day?

As you all know, the servers opened today. Though I haven't taken the plunge and bought this game yet, and so I really can't comment, I thought I'd make a thread where you could all share your first day experiences/impressions.

So, how was it?

The game is Awesome no doubt...the lag makes me sad it will be fixed though.

Same, my rate is a steady 0.01mb/sec. Yea think I won't be bothering with Trion products again.

I burned myself out on the preview weekend so I'm taking my time and pacing myself this time around. But I'm having a lot of fun.

I don't seem to be getting great weapons like I did in the preview though.

I've been having a blast (PC version). A few minor issues but nothing that takes away from the gameplay. I've had zero frame-rate issues and not a single bit of noticeable lag. I'm running on 5 year old hardware as well.

I've been doing all the side missions as I work my way towards story missions, dropping by to pitch in with Arkfalls when I'm close-by, and wondering about the map just looking around. I feel bad for those that haven't gotten the game to patch yet. That issue is the biggest eye-sore in an otherwise decent launch. So long as Trion gets those content updates rolling in on a regular basis and makes some tweeks to some of the more lacking features, I can easily see Defiance being around and having a healthy player-base for quite a few years to come.

Its been great on Xbox 360. A 25 minute download and patching and I was good to go

It's a fun game. I do wish the chat options were a little better but I'm sure tweaks and improvements will be made soon.

My first day is still going and I bought something from the Defiance store on a whim and turned out to be one of my favorite outfits. Think I will go out and buy some Mountain Dew so I can keep going!
