Do we know if race will have an impact on skills? Perhaps pistol/machine gun skill buff for one race and better scavenge for another? I'm not familiar enough with this game to assume lol.

So far nothing has any impact on skills other than what skill/perk you choose. Your "Origin" (which I thought to be your class) is really what cloths and starting weapons you get. Race just changes how you look really. I hope to see more races with actual impact on gameplay as well. I'd like to roll an Indogene character myself.
I agree Dregon. I hope they don't wait too long to release other races. I'd hate to get attached only to have to make a new character just because I like that race more.

I agree and a vid on character creation before launch would be good idea as well.
It would be cool to have a Sensoth since they look like a cross between an Orc and a Wookiee so I am all for that!
