how do i get more outfits?

are there any freebies flying around the web? like codes or the such

Do the area pursuits. They award you with an outfit each. You also get a few from the story and episode lines.

Edit: And by area pursuits I mean the full area ones. The ones where you have to find all locations, get silver in several of the trials and find all the data logs for an area.

i did a episode mission and got a outfit, too bad it's ugly. i'm still new to all this and trying to get used to the whole game. it's a little laggy but from what i can figure it's a co-op game. i was getting beat hard by some bugs and some other people appeared and helped me out.

The game has a very horizontal difficulty. Enemies you run in to early will remain fairly strong and enemies you fight later mostly stay about the same. As you get new weapons and toys the enemies do as well which is the main difficulty modifier with the exception of story boss monsters and the occasional really obnoxious Raider Tank or the like. Get used to fighting stuff in the starter area and you'll do well against most stuff all game.

Good evening Tokyo! There are many different ways to earn or buy outfits for your character. Those include:

1) Main Story Quests - I ran in to a couple of outfits during my time in the beta from the main story line quest.

2) Pursuit Achievements - If you look through the Pursuit objectives, you will see where certain ones will award you with an outfit to show off your achievement. I know PvP gives you a few outfits and I'm sure PvE does as well!

3) Defiance Store - My understanding is that there are 10 outfits currently on the Defiance Store to buy with Bits. On the beta there were 50, so it's pretty obvious that more will roll out over time!

I'm sure there are other ways to get outfits as well but those are three main ways that I remember!

Personally, I am liking the Outlander outfit and shades. I might even make it in real life for a good cosplay costume.

I'm pretty sure the area outfits are only helmets?

Best outfit I've gotten so far was from the explosions 101 pursuit, it looks absolutely brilliant, its called preacher something.

Shame we only get to see helms in pursuit previews though, however the mystery is kinda nice.

Edit: No Derity, thats a bug, It award a helm and a outfit, so far I havn't seen a single one that only gave helm, despite it saying it only give helm.
