Unintentional griefing is a bit of an oxymoron. Let's just call it what it is, bad results from bad game design. This is what happens when you have the majority of your content in the open world and don't level gate content by zone. These are very unconventional content scaling mechanics so players are simply not going to be used to them and many are not going to like them.
@ShadowPlauge - It is essentially a new game now and you're going to have to take a completely different approach to events when you see higher tiered mobs there. Read the Arktech Revolution launch article to learn the names of the the different tiers for scaled enemies and conduct yourself accordingly. Basically you are going to have to be much more defensive. Fortitude, Regeneration, Cellular Armor and Thick Skinned, and heal stims are now extremely important considerations for your loadout. Also consider keeping a Syphon weapon in your loadout. They now constantly leech to restore your shields and health. Your damage will be nerfed but your survivability will increase and the Opportunist and Teamwork points, although now capped, should keep your score decent.
