I know at this point saying something like this is old hat and boring, but seriously folks: the devs don't play the game. If this were not more obvious than it is now. I think we have reached a point where it is undeniable that almost no one affiliated with the making or maintenance of the game actually plays it on a routine basis as a player. If they do then we are faced with two distinct possibilities: either the segment of Trion who do play Defiance literally don't care how the game plays, only if it runs properly on a technical level OR they do actually care about the mechanics and level of fun and entertainment, but no one higher up on the chain cares.

I'd be more surprised at this point if this wasn't the case. To me this is why the live streams were frustrating. Trick would wrongly answer questions dahanese misunderstood anyway. It was a non fun version of the Telephone Game.

Yes! Or go off on a tangent that didn't answer the question. Or laugh off good questions. I had to stop watching them because I honestly felt disrespected as a player of the game to be so disregarded.

At one point on a live stream, someone was arguing about what BMG stood for. KNOW YOUR GAME! Apparently it is now a biomechanical gun, according to the stream.

Overall I don't actually mind the changes this time. It's different and gives me something to do at higher EGO. Although I can't drink as many beers as I used to and still play. What drives me crazy and always has since the launch is all the bugs we constantly report, they constantly ignore, and when they finally admit the problem and fix it something else breaks.

Believe this was communicated in the patch notes, the previous delay was a typo. We've corrected it to the legendary buff that it should be.

This guide is old but explains the old shield "token" system as Tek called it. It seemed like a pretty well thought out and balanced system to be a typo.

I guess orange shields that have a stat boost below at least DX are pretty much gimped then. I haven't tested nano resistances yet but I wonder if those changed again too...
