How to take care of the whiners trion!

What I've done is take a 2-week vacation from it - since I can't buy the DLC due to the bumbled PS3 deadline missed (AGAIN), I'm not going to even try to do much until I can. No point in leveling up without the precious arkforge I can't yet have access to.

So, yeah, that's my solution, stay out. But I am visiting forums to keep up with what's happening.

What I see in game when I did log on for just a little bit (stood around socializing, not playing) was a whole lot of rage. The change is cranked up to 11 and most players are really pissed. A few of you tough guys love it and I get that. And Trion is going to handle it they say. Hopefully they won't overcorrect again but maybe over the next couple weeks they can dial it in to please most everyone. I realize the hardcore will not be happy about that, but unfortunately most hardcore types never picked up Defiance to begin with, so I doubt there's enough of a player base to support the game and keep the lights on. The toughies are all off playing dark souls right now.

Btw dark souls isn't a tough game, it's way easier than the previous. I've already platinumed it and returned to defiance.

I agree completely with the original poster. There should be 2 different entities or games. There are many games on the market that offer the SOLO PLAY or single player missions and the alternate MMO player style.
I am an average gamer and can achieve the required goals of all my single player games. This however is far from ever being able to play as a single player of average skill.
I understand the need for a game to be more challenging when you reach the upper levels, yet the long time players forget about the new guys or average players. This game has no room for the NON ELITIST players and will chase the "NOOBS" out.
The game has always been challenging and at time too challenging for me, now it is impossible.
I am still on the forums only to see what changes are being made so I can possible attempt to play once again in the near future and SPEND MONEY. As for now I see no reason to play and spend money on a game that is impossible for me to play.

The sole reason I strongly support a rollback is NOT because I think the majority of changes are bad ideas. They're not. The reason I'd love a rollback is because this patch was NOT READY TO GO LIVE. So many things about it are badly broken. Hopefully, they can fix most of the issues with a series of small hotfixes, but it would have been exponentially better to have not rushed a seriously flawed build version onto the live server.

Even "patching up the patch" won't cure the absurdity of the "bullet sponge" phenomenon, though. Multiple magazines to put down a freaking minion isn't "challenging," it's boring. It's immersion-breaking. It's an incredibly lazy way to increase difficulty (which it doesn't actually do, it just increases time spent, that's all).

Good for you beating dark souls. I know it's not a game I would like.

So what I haven't played Defiance? I have like 20 friends that TRIED to play it and I'm opting to take a vacation for two weeks. My choice, why is THAT a problem for you? I was logged in on Defiance for like 2 hours on Tuesday and it was a rage fest. I logged onto the forums on Wednesday and it was mostly a rage fest too. I have an opinion and that's what the forums are here for. And I've been reading up on the alpha test stuff since that launched. Why would I want to go die repeatedly when I can just wait it out and do other things instead?

And why do you insist on assuming I'm your bro or a dude? I'm neither. You posted this could-be-assumed as an inflamatory thread. did you expect everyone to agree with you?

You're entitled to you opinion and so are the rest of us. I tried to politely point out that your opinion is in the minority in this case.
