    Case out the locations for a good elevated position with cover. While I'm pretty sure you won't find any at the San Francisco locations, all the Bay area ones have buildings that actually have walls, second floor windows you can shoot from and, in some cases, ledge areas as well. When things get hairy retreat away from the windows further into the building. You also no longer have to worry about the Trooper's special shockwave attacks when you're on the second story of a building.

    Which, in all reality is really no different than what it was like playing the Bathhouse siege from Stage 9 on up with only a couple of people before the patch.
    I do just love how the DlC 5 TL10, goes so well with the new extraction fee introduced a while ago. Trick wanted us to pick up our fellow teamates, thats all been busted by his introduction of this latest fiasco. Heck he's single handedly busted volge incursions, and any volge sieges, minor arkbreaks and major arkbreaks, in one masterful brushstroke. Way to go on taking away more than half of the dlc you've added.

    I know I'm being a bit snarky in this post , but snarkyness aside its pretty much the truth.

    One of the extraction points at the Quarry is actually a good place to stay to score a Tier 10 score as it provides ample cover from fire and, contrary to what someone else posted, the Trooper grenades will not get you unless you don't bother to move away from them at that extraction point (the one on the second floor of the building near the Cap Point where one of the turrets is on top of a nearby truck).

    Well I guess you haven't experienced what I have experienced. Last night I re spawned at an extraction point which was on a ledge near the main road. And I thought the same. This is a great place to score. So I stayed on that spot and started using my sniper rifle. As soon as I fired my 1st 3 shots, there were troopers like 300 feet relatively speaking away from me shooting grenades at me with ridiculous reach and accuracy. The problem with the extraction point you mention is not the trooper grenades. It's the Bomber's heat seeking missiles that can get inside the building. Yeah they're a little bit easier to dodge when you are inside but they're getting through the building nonetheless.

    It depends on your loadout. If you have a medic build you'll have the Combat Medic and Samaritan perks that will give you 45% damage resistance during the whole revival process. I also use Cloak for my medic build because it allows me to approach a downed player without drawing fire.

    The Death Tax right now is totally incompatible with the new game environment. It's one of the main reasons all major game modes (Major Arkfalls,Volge Sieges etc) Feel more like a chore rather than fun game experience. Simply put. The Death Tax has to die.

    The Bomber's missiles can be avoided by moving to the right behind the wall. I have Blast Shield which may make a difference but I avoided dying from two simultenous volleys from Bombers this way. You cannot expect to stay at your shooting point the whole time. You're going to have to retreat inside periodically, but you can still get enough hits in to get a Tier 10 score.

    Like how the whole point of DLC 4 was to get people to play together, and now DLC 5, makes everyone want to be alone. Well, it makes low ego players pray that a high ego player doesn't drive by when doing events.

    I haven't had any problems when alone or in large groups. Its when there are only 3 or 4 players that I can really see what is making people angry. Respawning to get spawned killed is a blast of frustration that only the most demented of players could ever find enjoyable. No tactics will help if you can't even spawn.

    But, I do like what the DLC did for the most part. Running Sutro with three players at TL10 was the most fun I've had in this game. It just needs to be tweaked for lower ego players.

    Combat tactics went out the window a long time ago.
    There are games out there that actually take combat tactics this ain't one of them. This is a great run and gun game no other other tactic needed.

It can be fun and it can be a pain. Yes its not like the real thing but thats why I like it. I don't play Modern Warfare or anything like that because I have held another humans life in my hands and I did not like it. Run and gun no longer cuts it in this game for lower lvl ego's that's why I started this thread. Now Iron Hide check my grammar please.

    Well Of course you cannot stay at the same shooting point the whole time. The game never let you do that since the beginning. But with the overwhelming amount of New, Bullet sponging, harder to kill Volge bots in one single Mob ( now aka Cluster F) There's simply no place to retreat or camp or either run away. Right now It's either be willing to lose a couple thousand scrip on extracting only and your score going back to zero over and over and over, or just get the hell out of the place. That's the reality right now.
