the event quest misson system is just like guild wars 2 but with guns and it action combat.


you buy loot or kill emeny for loot.


this game is in open beta and it change and make new update that a mmorpg. you people who have hard time find people are really not trying hard enough and mostly like want everything hand to you on sliver plate

And yes, this isnt an mmo...whats trolling about that? Its the same with Planetside 2...it wasnt an mmo. This is just an online multiplayer. Theres no crafting, no gear progression, NO SOCIAL CHAT MOST IMPORTANT MMORPG THING...and many many other things.

So no Defiance is far from an mmo and youre a fool if you thought the devs told you that.

there different weapons drops with element effects on them. that what make it a rpg. COD dont drop loot

That has nothing to do with RPGs.
RPG is a role playing game, you create, customize, level and play your character (role) in the massive open world with many other players (here is where MMO comes in) these are the RPG elements. The gameplay is that of a TPS (third person shooter) and things like the randomized loot are just game mechanics. You know those RPers that every MMORPG has? They're the role players where they immerse themselves and take part in the world whilst playing their character (role).

You play the role of one of humanitys last survivors.. Defiantly shooting at the teraformed mutated species.. In third person.. You pobabely even talk about yourself in third person.. When talking to some of the thousands of other roleplayers in this massivly game.

My point was, that just because they call it an mmorpg themselves, doesnt make it one. Ever heard of an analogy?

SBlaze pretty much summed up what this game lacks which are in fact, quite a few things to actually...be anything.

Beside it not being an mmo, its not even a decent shooter. Its trying to be everything at once and it fails at everything in its current state.
