Should my buddies and I get this game? Please help!

So...the big coop games we are looking at is either this or dead island riptide (we LOVED dead island).

I just saw this game recently and had some questions...

MMO? Like, can I pick a class? Specialize? Can I be unique between my 2 other buddies? Can we spec say sniper, heavy gunner, medic, tank, ect? Basically, is it a STRONG RPG on its own.

Exploration? (Part of the reason we loved dead island). How is the exploration? Lots of stuff to discover? Can we be traveling in a car and stop by a dungeon or what not and go in and start messing stuff up and come out with gear and loot and stuff? Is the game a seamless world? Will my friends and I run into you in the game world or pass by you in a car we jacked or what not?

How is the shooting? Is it involving and fun? Can I modify my guns? Do I loot weapon parts and modify it to my gun? Can we do drive by's?

Just by looking at the game, my buds and I are hoping for an MMO type of fallout, kinda sorta. Maybe.

So...with that being said...what do yall think? If I am going to buy this it will be to play primarily with my 2 other buddies...so...it is this vs riptide.

Depends where your located but at the moment in the UK the game is so shockingly bad to even play, you can't even login.

There's a video on YouTube, an hour special with a dev. Go and watch that, think it was IGN who did it.
That'll answer a lot of questions.

But so far I've managed fifteen/twenty minutes playtime this morning, it was fun.
But in the UK the servers were down from the start 'til around 9:30PM (That's when I gave up trying)

Yes to most of those questions. too many to answer :/ but as the guy said you can watch the livestream and if you like it you can buy it and if you dont like it you can return it for credit towards dead island. But the game is addictively fun and I doubt you will not like it :P

Im loving it! Its great solo, however I have yet to get around to trying any coop stuff. I know your car cant get stolen and i dont think you can harm other players unless in a match.

Well in that case, Twitch TV is your best bet! Just hope there's a stream up.
At the moment, I'm a little disappointed with the servers, I would've actually benefited more from putting £40 in my toaster rather than buying it.

Well, at least that's how I'm feeling right now due to server issues.
But other than that it's a pretty nice game. Not managed to mod a weapon yet, but it's doable.

Dont listen to the bitter cry babies who cant get on the game.

The game is good and its 10x better when you play with friends. Also i installed all patches and got on the game first time so dont let that put you off. Game aint perfect but already had a few updates

Kocot the servers will improve over time. Im sure they are trying their best to give us a great game. Id rather them take some time and actually fix things than just use some duct tape lol. If you cant my meaning
