Will there be a second season (pass) ?

While I find the term "season pass" is prone for confusement, my simple questions is, will the game also have a second season ? One year has gone by, 5 DLC packs were delivered. What's the plan this year?

I know the creative lead of this game said this:

The Earth Republic and Votanis Collective are gearing up for war. Irisa’s developed inexplicable powers. Karl Von Bach is missing and presumed dead, but there are rumblings that he’s been seen beyond the bounds of Paradise.

There’s more than just story coming ahead. We’ve got a whole slew of updates coming out before and during the second season. We’re getting new enemies, new perks, new features, and the inevitable land expansion. The location has already been telegraphed to those who have been paying careful attention, but I won’t spoil that for you here.

It would be great though if we have some more info on what is in development, maybe not specific details (maybe a lot of aspects cannot be mentioned due to second season spoilers of the TV show) but just that there is tons of content in the works. One of the appeals of playing a game like this over an offline one is that i's every changing, ever evolving and from time to time it's install base needs to be reassured. I'm especially keen on knowing if we can have another year of 5 DLC packages.

Yes, here is the 'content':

DLC 1 - Green Arkfalls, just like current arkfalls, but the map icon is green, gives you a new rep type for reskinned versions of guns already in the game.
DLC 2 - Challenges now have a new difficulty option, they are just like current challenges, but take 5 times longer to complete.
DLC 3 - The starting area of the game is playable as a co-op map with a single new enemy inside.
DLC 4 - Co-op maps get different enemies inside them, no other changes.
DLC 5 - Perks get reworked, this is for everyone who plays the game and not just DLC owners.

After the past year's season pass I would like to see how the marketing team would try to spin the new season pass.
Especially with the last dlc being the bullet sponge patch.

i beleave thay will be giveing us eather antartica to finaly go to. or thay will be giveing us a bunch of the same thing we got here. all the same we got this year. " sigh " who knows thay may saprise us.

There probably will be a 2nd Season Pass, as there is a 2nd season of the show. And as long as the show runs you might as well sqeeuze the last bits out of the game. Besides, the main storyline isnt finished yet and they already promised map-expansion.

Bought the 1rst Season Pass straight away, learned my lesson though. I love the game despite what it has become, an asocial moneygrabbing-machine. But will never ever give Trion my money upfront again. Before dropping more money on this game i'd actually like to know what i'm buying this time around.

I don't need:
- Stupid gamebreaking patches that everybody else gets for free (yes yes, DLP5 that is)
- Another broken vehicle
- Nice OJ's to grind for that actually can't hit s**t
- Reskinned guns
- Recycled maps sold as new content
- Unplayable instances that get you kicked from the server
- More meaningless factions with no real background nor story to grind rep for to buy a slim chance of finding something useful.
- Ugly outfits i never wear

^^This actually sums up all 5 previous DLP's... Good reason not to buy (upfront) again.

Oh yeah, on a sidenote: I also wont be paying for the rest of the main Storyline nor the map-expansion as i think that very disappointed customers that are still loyal to game despite all Trion their fookups are entitled to have this for FREE. And 'Free' as in 'uncharged', as in 'keep your money, you may have it', as in 'Thank you for still being around and make the game we were trying to break'.
