They also told us before that we would never be able to re roll our weapon mastery bonuses. So there is still some hope for the future. Just because they can't figure out and easy way to do it now doesn't they won't some time later. If the game survives another year, moving characters to the PC platform will probably get bumped up the priority list. The 360 and PS3 will become even more obsolete with the new consoles out.

for starters -- cross-platform character portability -- it just sounds cool....

no, really, I just started playing the PC version, and I think it would be convenient to have access to my character from the PS3 version. I've put a lot of time and energy (to say nothing of the cost) into my character and I think it would be a great advantage, rather than having to play the multiple DLC's all over again -- I mean, I enjoy playing the game as much as the next guy, but....

btw, i think if they'll ever add seamless platform migration, it would crush x360/na prices into oblivion, or skyroket ps3/pc prices, who knows.

I turned mine on today (yayy) and it had an firmware update do make, it really was today cause i`ve played last night a little bit of Thief and went back to play a little more this morning and there it was.
Firmware 1.70. Really cool stuff for people who likes to make videos and share and the HDCP.
Not really sure how the HDCP is working on the PS4,i need to investigate.

Ps: It`s now possible to turn off HDCP to enable video recording via HDMI.

A lot of us would. Heck I'd be happy if they just moved my preorder bonus and my in game titles (daredevil, honorable) to my PC account at this point.
