Defiance Free-to-Play Arrives June 4!

They are NOT taking space away from us. If you do NOT have any extar slots from something then your inventory space already caps at around 60+. (it was 60, but I beleive they raised it by around 3 after Dlc 2.) It's always been that way. You have more because of arkcodes, or a collector's or ultimate edition version. I did the arkcodes, and have the 100$ collector's edition and have 79 inventory slots, and am ego 4760. If you NEED more space, then buy it or level to 4k, because last I knew that is the last time you get an inventory upgrade. Here's some info:

The Deluxe Digital, Collector's Physical and Ultimate Physical Pre-orders gives a +5 inventory boost.
A +2 boost can be achieved through the My-EGO Level 1 code redemption.
A +4 boost can be achieved through the My-EGO Level 9 code redemption.

Also steam pre-order players got an additional upgrade from some pe-order rewards rank 3 thing. I am not on Pc so I have no idea what that means but here's the link.

I bought the deluxe digital edition and all the existing DLC, but it makes no difference - love the game and will play until the servers go down, hopefully sometime in the distant future!

I want to start off by saying I have nothing against free to play games. I play several. I also play sub only games. But when I spent money on defiance I wasn't paying for either of those here. I don't play this game very often. I log in from time to time to kill stuff and have fun. Mostly when I'm bored. So my opinion may not matter.

That said... This is the first time I ever heard of a game going free to play -then- having a sub added. I know you guys aren't calling it a sub, but it is. The patron pass thing works just like optional subs do in other free to play games. Subbed players get more experience and gain resources faster. Just like your patron pass players.

I didn't go all out like some people and buy this game early or get a deluxe or collector edition. I did however buy it when it was still full price. And spent even more than that on its in game store. I did this because it didn't have a sub. Because I could log in whenever I want. Whenever I feel like it. Without worrying about a subscription time ticking down. Now to not gimp myself I have to pay money every month for a sub/patron-pass/whatever.

I don't expect you guys to change anything. But know you've lost my trust. And while I doubt I'm the majority, I also know I'm not alone. Only the guys watching your bottom line will know if its worth it for you or not. But this type of thing will affect how I view any product from your company, ever.

I just bought the game about 2 weeks before i heard about it going free. i like it, its fun. and ive been on alot!!!
I read all of these post in this thread and alot of you are cool with it, thats awesome.
