Enemy Phasing Issue being worked on, a resolution coming?

Last night, my clan mates and I ran through two expert maps, Expolsions 101, and Scrapworks Salvage. The phasing in and out was a major buzz kill on both maps. I know there have been plenty of comments on Dekuso disappearing on the forums, but at the final battle on Scrapworks, the two Forgers were doing the same thing.

    Question:
Is this a priority on the hot fix list or is it something that were stuck with? With the game going FTP, how do you think the new players would react to invisible enemy's that you can't shoot, but can destroy any fun you thought you were having?

Basically I'm wondering if we can get a solid answer on the progress of this fix. KIWI HELP?!?!

    Nope

I have had issues both phasing enemies and players at conflict sites for over a month with no solution offered.

Seems to be happening more often, and in more co ops then usual.

Last time I heard a response it was something like "Everything is fine with our servers, its due to hardware limitations"

Maybe this is why they went free to play, they need those new players to spend money on bits because the RENT IS TOO HIGH!... and they cant keep the lights on.

This is a different issue. What you're talking about is a rendering issue that is hardware related. In that situation it takes a while for mobs to render but they eventually do. It also causes the players to disappear but all of the players and mobs are still there and the mobs can damage you and you can still BMG heal the players.

This issue has the mobs literally shifting in and out of your phase. They cannot and do not hit you when you are out of phase because you're not there for them and they're not there for you. I was able to confirm very specific things about this phenomenon because it occured with me when attempting to solo one of the Dark Matter Major Arkfall fragments last night. New mobs were spawning in because they were able to set up teleport portals. They would pop out of existence and pop back into existence briefly but none of them scaled to me because of the phasing. They were all normal trash mobs. In other words the game was not acknowledging I was in their area in calculating their scaling because we were out of phase (and the area was teeming with them when they would phase back in). When others finally arrived because it was the last fragment up they all experienced the exact same phenomenon. We found a specific location at the edge of the fragment area where they stayed in phase the most often and killed them with a mix of precision burst damage weapons and suppression damage weapons. This is on PC NA so there was a large variance in hardware capability and client resources and a much higher amount of resources magnitudes above the games minimum requirements.

This is not a client issue. It is undeniably a server - client connection issue and the dev team needs to take off the blinders and acknowledge this is actually happening and do something to fix it. One of the players there was new and asked how long the game has been out in reaction to this game breaking bug. If I was a developer I would be embarrassed to give the truthful answer that I provided which is that it has been out for a little longer than an entire year. I can only imagine what kind of bad word of mouth reputation this is giving the game from new players to the potential F2P market for the F2P launch in June. They need to make fixing this issue a priority if they don't want their F2P numbers to fizzle and plummet.

Deunan, I am quite sure that once everyone has a nearly empty claim section that this problem will be resolved along with the disappearing vehicles and the disconnecting consoles and the floating emergencies and you will also then be able to see everyone at the sieges no matter how many enemies spawn... everything will be just fine...
