    post free to play warmaster

With the influx of all the noobs that will be arriving with free to play, the warmaster needs to be fixed so that he cannot be released until a minimum of 25 people are in the room. They fixed it when everyone was shooting the skitterlings that were needed to open weak spots in crystals on some of the minor arkfalls, so they can certainly do it now.

The way they could fix this is by having it so that there MUST be 25 players in the room in order for the locks to be breakable.

That and make the WM weaker if we're to have a remote chance with the influx of newbies that'll be using low EGO weapons on the bullymong...

Worst one for me was having three friends and I watching a stupid newb break the locks with just us in there... Of course we pulled out bmgs to heal one another, but we t-bagged the idiot that broke the locks every time he went down LOL!

I also thought of the Skitterling crystal example, but I think that was only taken out because people were taking down the crystal too fast with charge blades and NOT because people were making them fail. In other words: taken out because players made it too easy, not because players were ruining it for others.

Something definitely needs to be done about the Warmaster, though. It's totally illogical to have a raid style boss where you cannot control who comes in.

I have to admit that last night I enjoyed messing with an idiot who broke the locks early (despite three players jumping up and down in front of her and several people pleasing in chat for her to stop). Every time I saw her downed - which was a lot - I'd run over to rez...then interrupt the rez before it took and run off. I wasn't worried about interrupting my own DPS, since the run was clearly doomed (I think we broke the armor with 30 seconds left). Probably too stupid to realize what I was doing...but it was fun. Fun is in short supply in the game any more, so you have to find it where you can.

They weren't referring to the removal of the crystal destroying arkfalls, they were referring to when the game was originally released the only way for the weak spots to show up on the crystal was by letting skitterlings bite it. People kept killing all the skitterlings before they could get near the crystal and it was, at times, causing arkfalls to fail due to lack of damage to the crystal when no weak spots were showing up. They fixed this by have the critical spots show up on their own without any interaction from a skitterling.

One solution is to enable the possibility to create parties of 24 players, this way who ever wants to really beat the crapp out of the big monkey, could really do it.
Groups of 4 players are just ridiculous.
