    what they should have done from the start is make is so that if you do not own the dlc you could not even go to battle him, since the people that stand to lose the most are usually the people that planted the spikes in the first place and without owning the dlc you could not plant a spike.
    at least the people that own the dlc know, and usually care that people are going to lose something if they don't kill the WM, where as people that did not buy the dlc only care about what kinda of weapon they get from the battle win or lose.

    Actually, people who don't own the DLC probably don't even care about that as you can't use the arkbreaker weapons without purchasing the DLC. The fact that they can't use the weapons almost encourages them to simply run in a break the locks, as it won't make much difference to them either way. This being the case I think it would be a good idea to limit participation in warmaster battles to those who own the DLC, but that's probably not going to happen.

    You've made two incorrect presumptions in less than one sentence. Some of the biggest Arkbreak trolls own Arkbreaker and the players that don't own it can't use any of the weapons that drop.

    I concur, something needs to be done about WM. With the influx of free trials players and soon the free-2-play players joining, the WM will need some sort of nerf, whether it's a mandatory 25 needed before you can break locks and/or making him easier which I think sucks b/c WM should be an end-game raid boss for higher EGO players to play at so maybe even an EGO requirement of 1.5k+ or even more-so. By then at least players will have a general concept of working together in a raid environment and possibly be somewhat geared enough to help out rather than hinder others by barely dealing damage (i.e. they might be using the wrong type of nano and not dealing effective damage or using volge weapons which does practically nothing to WM).

    It'd just be nice to have a success rate for WM that's higher than 5% due to the all the lowbies/inexperienced players pretty much taking up space and not really doing anything in the raid. They might be dealing the same damage during the whole raid with reloading etc as us higher players can dish out 1 clip of ammo. That's the big hindrance in WM raids and honestly needs to be addressed.

    They nerfed the frequency of them several months ago because it was the only way they could deal with players using exploits to destroy the crystals in less than 30 seconds. They might have removed them entirely since that time.

    Shooting the arm on PS3 was always the way, never had success with the back ever. So within a couple of weeks of Arkbreaker's release, everyone has always shot right arm. I've heard on PC, it's the back but it's always been arm on PS3. Right? Go back to the arm, revisit loadout or something cuz back is never going to work.

    I actually just did one of these about 15 minutes ago. They're apparently rare, but they do still exist in the game.

    We killed him targeting the back last week on the PC NA. I feel like it's not so much the location as much as it is everyone targeting the same area and using the proper gear. Just my thoughts on it, really.
