Hey bigdawg I was Group Inviting you for him last night!

Here's the thing though...I enter Warmaster and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait...must've been more than 10 minutes, likely 15.

Then we fight him - Good long fight, my loadout was not as effective as I'd hoped but that's OK retool after him - then reward screen. 11 Arkforge. ELEVEN. I think also maybe 15 keys? Scrip and Salvage reaped were high.

I then go to a just spawned DM Arkfall - race from Ark Crystal to Ark Crystal racking up mega-points, finish all of them with 16 minutes to spare (so 8 minutes of DM Arkfall so far) - Monolith goes down with 19 Minutes left (so total of 18 Minutes worth of DM Arkfall) - BAM - I get 25 Arkforge, a buncha keys, an orange Wolfhound and loads of scrip and salvage from the noobs around me leveling up like mad from the "killshot" (with the new window how can you NOT land it?).

I am still down to kill the monkey just time spent vs. reward is a shaky proposition.

Hi All!

ArkForge yield was not as high as I had hoped for the coordination required and time investment - a Dark Matter Arkfall yields 2x as much Arkforge in 1/2 the time.

It's too late Overt, you got us all riled up! jk , I couldn't agree more with what Maverick said though, & I think people are being selfish using BMG's & infectors. We also need Treasurekins; she is the killing crew coordinator - did kill him last night with you present & I noticed hardly any infections & the light show was not spectacular

Yeah that was a close one too...LOL.

My loadout wasn't proper, I think Fire + High Crit is absolutely necessary for when his armor breaks.

I'll be trying again though, you can count on it.

My girl may have been on playing. If u ever see Aiylexma on that's her. Even showing up at tail end of a DM is still netting me decent arkforge. So yea hunting them would be far more beneficial than the WM. But I need a headshot custom bolter. The dbl crit WM sniper. Only one I never got

Also slightly off-topic, the monolith seems to be THE thing for high score/key intake. I got to one yesterday with only seconds left, put 1 bullet into the monolith for kill shot. 88K points. Yeesh. Made me feel kinda dirty but I'll take it!

SO did the big monkey again last night and since when are folks shooting his back?

His back crystal breaks and I'm like huh??? So of course he doesn't die and in fact keeps over 1/2 his life bar.

Why anyone would take it upon themselves to attempt to change the way the Warmaster has been done for almost 6 months is beyond me. Why they would do it and not inform any of the almost 30 other Arkhunters present that they were doing it is ludicrous.

Listen "Attack from the Rear Arkhunters", you may think the back is the way to go, you may even have friends that agree - I don't care - on the PS3 we shoot the right arm - we always have, even the noobs know to do it.

(P.S. I 100% do not agree that his back is more efficient - especially when he hangs near the wall and there is literally no space to hit his back.)

Yes, apparently PC back-shooting works better but on Xbox an PS3 it's RIGHT ARM. If people are reading forums they may get confused by this. In fact, why/how on earth this is different depending on platform escapes my logic circuits.

Get me in there. I grow weary of retraining noobs but am very effective in text chat "schooling". I've saved more than one monkey from surviving by stopping the early lockbreakers!
