    Co-Op Expert Guides?

I'm finally getting up the nerve to try the co-op expert levels but I'd like to have some idea of what I'm getting myself into. The few videos I've come across only ever show the boss fights at the end of the levels and I'm not seeing any guides/suggestions/info on the best way to go about surviving the levels anywhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did manage to play the Motherlode on expert today but only after leaving a group of players that were glitching their way through the doors so they could just run through the level w/o fighting anything. It was annoying...

Right now the maps can be pretty painful. They seemed to have tweaked the difficulty again to make the enemies complete bullet sponges. Here's one guide that may help you get through some of the maps, though.

I think the lack of guides is because the co-ops are the exact same as they were before except that expert the multiplier on hose you down with combatants ( see all posts for double spawn enemy's ) you will not know there are two whatever there till you kill or stager one and they separate, and their new super sneaky tactic of spawning in front of as well as behind you(always watch your 6 in expert) and of course the tuff ness of your combatants (most call it bullet spoongyness) new guide complete lol! Not really but I hope this helps.

If your on ps3 NA hit me up as you can see I am a glutton for punishment!!!
Best to run them with a good fire team!

Yeah what the hell is with that ? Last week it was beautiful and after 1.506, 1.507, and 1.508 I do the motherload and we could barely kill the guys. They kept eating my wolfy, sumimoto, and ground splitter !! We decided to just high tail it to the ending and screw killing the guys because it was near the server restart time.

For the hulkers in Seleptor/Explosions 101 when they start running(endlessly) just find a good corner to stand at. I can tell you that your chances of being ran over are very low, especially in explosions 101. Most people I see are usually out in the middle shooting them and get killed.

I dunno... but I hope they fix it back. The expert maps were JUST fine before. Challenging and didn't take 45 minutes to do. I kept thinking that I could be doing a million other things, both in Defiance and out, rather than the painful grind. They need to accept the fact that people are going to want to push through some things to enjoy what they love. THEN we can have an open discussion. Right now it' all about lip service to sell the game.

I'm dreading doing the next daily Chimera challenge after experiencing sponge hell on the motherload. It's just not worth spending 1-2h shooting enemies that eat your bullets like cereal all for ONE CAERULEUM CORE...Trion, please turn sponge mode off and put things back the way they where before your triple patch.

    Guide:

-Take at least 3 people of 5000 EGO or higher with you. Having 2 players around below 3500-4000 EGO and you might as well quit straight away, it'll be an everlasting grind.

-Bio and Radiation weapons rule. Especially the high firerate ones, SMG's and AR's. Also equip the new perks that enhances the gun youre using.

-Get into a good clan with enough High EGO's to play with, it avoids disappointment when meeting up with randoms.

-Be patient and pick your fights. Know when to run or retreat.

-Make sure 3 players have different spikes equipped, you need them all!

Nice. The only thing I could add is someone in the group should have electric as well. It seems shields have had the biggest boost since the patch.

    Here's the cliff notes guide:

Follow the old guides, only now, do it 20x slower.
I play the PC version of Defiance and I do not PvP, ever. Understand that all of my comments are from that perspective.

No, they were not fine before. They were called expert, yet I could basically steamroll them by myself with a detonator and the right build. So with 4 people who know what they're doing, they were a joke.
