Where is the point in playing?

Mine was when Diablo dropped...Feel ya, man.

Sure, a scattering came back but then GTA IV dropped and it was desolate again.

Destiny was the final straw....

Mine went with the preparedness perk/zagger nerfs, and Destiny with nex gen systems taking most of the stragglers.

I can find quite a few reasons why I could and would continue playing Defiance... The lore, friends, exploring, etc. The real problems for me are all the reasons I would stop playing Defiance... Like poor customer service such as slow/nonexistent responses from Trion after messaging them.

As of right now I won't be renewing my patron status or sending any more bits Trion's way or continuing to watch the TV series on Amazon Prime since they seem more preoccupied making sure the next lockbox hits the shelves rather than answering a few questions or making players feel appreciated. Theyre tripping over dollars to pick up pennies.

You are aware that the TV series was cancelled and the 3d season was the last, Right?

I left for Diablo when it released but returned a little under 2 weeks later after I got my platinum trophy despite losing everything to data corruption.

GTA V was fun for about a day then I lost interest.

Destiny was suppose to take defiance to a whole new level. Unfortunately, the massive open world we were promised turned into a hub. I played the destiny beta and was very unimpressed.

Defiance's uniqueness as far as leveling up goes is seemingly going to die overnight. There will probably be another mass exodus after the patch releases and I'm not sure if the game will retain enough paying customers to keep the servers up. I'd also like to reiterate that buying $20 worth of stuff is not enough to keep them going.


Ps- I highly highly doubt everyone will be giving their stuff away to a random player at ERep.
