1.509 patching the entire game?

I've been trying to patch for the last hour or so and the rate actually went to -14000.00. I'm thinking that's not a good sign. After it went back to 0.00 it sat there doing nothing. Current downloading time remaining 18 days 17 hours.

It's patched probably about 3 times so far Kiwi and I'm pretty sure it's from the flood of population trying to log on. I'll hold my ground for now but should I need help I'll be sure to dial 911 and ask for Kiwi

seems to be a steam thing for me... was at 8 mb per cec. restarted steam and went to 140mbps... now back down to 20 mbps after 1/2 way through the download.

Just tested my speed at 7.2 up and 2.1 down. So it's at least not a "me" thing.

To everybody that has patched multiple times:

I was made aware that the 1.509 update may have corrupted a file and it keeps trying to update but fails which is why it keeps patching.

Strange. In a very weird race of sorts, Chevota started patching first followed by myself and then Old School Pop.
I defeated Chevota with Old School Pop finishing second and Chevota rounding out the three of us.
Chevota hates to lose, period. In anything.
Pop is a west coaster, Chevota is way up north and I am in the southeast. Strange how the MBPS runs

Shadow started like 10 minutes before me and I finished almost 20 minutes before him, I think. Though its is posibble that I was wrong for once, Highly unlikely but theoretically possible.

Mine took only a few mins to download, longer to install.. 22mbps download, I'm on a 80mb line.

Some in my clan also got the whole worlds turned texture black and had to reinstall again
