Season 2 is almost here and so far we are only going to get more cross-over missions.

I could be wrong but from what i remember reading was that cross over content will be the main focus with very little season 2 addition.

I would kind of like to know what ever became of VonBach but since the A team is gone I don't think that story line is going anywhere anytime soon.

ugh i feel so spoiled after seeing this thread, so i guess itll end like Borderlands 2. Pretty much repetitive after all mission are done. ill try to slow down on mission then and do arkfalls/incursion

That arkcore seems to have a much bigger role in the world of Defiance that has yet to be revealed.
Well it is also possible for a Cross-over to expand on the Arkcore if the story of the TV starts to become more linked towards the game beyond cross-over.
Haven't been here long but the game itself is pretty hard to explain i pretty much mostly everything on my own, there no explanation to pretty much any of the feature of the game, i mean i still don't know what a synergy is and i'm almost in the SF region. Other then the wiki the details are only confirm by player and not by the team. So when they do actually explain the unanswered question maybe work on some explanation as what does what in game. or maybe an ingame manual of every feature.
Well i manage to understand the story just fine but the game and TV series are just split between two stories until Season 1 ending.
However, seems the TV series is starting to get more involved into what the game story is about being Arkcore and the mystery behind the Arkcore.
The game story as of now focus on the Arkcore being a Arktech with great power to terraform the land and the Earth republic is looking to obtain it which is what lad Van and the Ark Hunter into the location where the game is set. With th help of the surviving members of the Defiant Few, the Ark Hunter manage to reobtain the Arkcore but the story ends with a cliffhanger due to the TV series as well.
It took sometime for the TV series to reach this point but the TV series is now expanding on the game story near the end of Season 1 being the mysterious Arkcore inside of Irisa which appears to be similar to the Arkcore in the game.
As mentioned in season 1, the arkcore in the game is only one of the few special Arkcores and two of them are currently implanted in Irisa and the Earth Republic is hunting for these few Arkcores for a mysterious purpose which is why they willing provided support for Van Bach expedition.
Of course at the end of Season 1 the Arkcore in Irisa are now starting to posses her like the Arkcore in the game has done to Van Bach.
