Honestly at this point, they've been asked to stop countless times by everyone and continue to use the glitch. If Trion doesn't dish out some sort of punishment for intentionally spamming a glitch, then my faith in reporting is gone. I've used live chat, submitted tickets, and all i get is "We're working on it". Great, I'm glad yall are working on it but the amount of glitchers needs to be dealt with by punishment. Preferably a 1 month ban or perma ban. Keep this post on the front page if you agree, hopefully a dev will take notice

Altras I may not always agree with you but in this case I certainly do. I encourage everybody to report the people abusing the broken BMG's. By not taking action against those who exploit this Trion is giving the go-ahead to glitch, exploit, and hack freely and PvP is truly dead.

Exactly., what Duction said. If you are getting buffed then you ARE low ego compared to the non-buffed player, so you are also getting extreme damage to bmgs. Btw it also gives the Bmg's Health charge extreme power, so even if all you are doing with that Bmg is healing teammates, you are still using the glitch. Yes it's annoying but it is nowhere near as annoying as those that purposely have clanmates/friends join and drop out until their group outnumbers the other group BIG time!

Just a little example.
Who here remembers the Extra Life event? I bet a lot of the older players do.
Some people bought shields, sold them back and so forth. It was in the Dev's code.
By your own definition, that would NOT have been an exploit, they were simply using game mechanics. But what did happen? People got banned for it or they were taken their scrip away.

People, who purposely use a glitch which was acknowledged as a glitch should get IMO punished for it. Of course it's in the Dev's code but it's still a glitch. It needs to be fixed ASAP because I know people quitting Defiance until this is fixed. I know people quitting PvP and being really frustrated because they have no chance.
Every other weapon mentioned (Zagger, SB etc.) are not glitched. Well, except from the non-existent reload animation for Zaggers when they have a 0.0 reload, but that's a different topic.

As I said, I agree people should fear some consequences when they use a BMG all the time, when they are aware of the glitch. But I don't see that happening.
Either, you had to punish every player. Some even may not be aware of what they did or you punish no player which seems more likely.

By your reckoning when the splitshots got a mistaken over powerd buff/glitch and everyone used them in the war master and pvp, they too should of been banned and punished?

Ok the BMG's in PVP can be annoying but as far as i know there is nothing a player needs to do to get the high damage.
If a low Ego uses a BMG it get's the insane damage buff, so what you're saying is that you want to ban everyone that happens to use a BMG in PVP ?
Sounds a bit ridiculous no ?
