I have had three corrupted downloads for seemingly no reason that stopped at 97%. I have been downloading for 16+ hours and have used up a **** load of band width. There is no excuse for letting a patcher this buggy make it to release, except that you guys do not care about your PC customers.
This is an infuriating release. I fully intend to seek a refund if this is not fixed soon.

I am having the same issue. If I am not able to access the game I have already paid for tonight I will be getting a refund. I have never in my 30 years of gaming gotten a refund but this is the last straw, don't release products that dont work.

Day 2 of the long search for Defiance. I too plan on seeking a refund if not fixed post haste. Bought deluxe edition, Season pass and a bunch of bit's for over 160, jekin, dollars and can't even download the game. Final chance Trion.
Would it be too much to ask for a response from Trion? You do have my money after all but I don't have your product.

Good afternoon,
I bought my game via Steam yesterday. I installed the installer and started patching. When the game is patched for about 2 third, the download speed drops to 0 and it starts repatching. The same process repeats itself about 3 times, after which I get a "Patch error, please try again later".
I have tried all the options in the support database. i.e. running with a clean windows, running as admin, changing DNS servers, but nothing helps. I have also downloaded the installer on the Trion webpage, but the same issue occurs.
Today I noticed there was a new patcher, so I downloaded it again. It now started downloading the 052 files. Unfortunately the same issue occurs.
Please advise.
I am using WIN 7 64 Bit, AMD FX-4100 Quad core 8 GB RAM
There is no advice on this yet, see my comment and thread above. They're just ignoring the issue right now.
