Sniper weapons not very accurate?

I feel like these guns aren't very accurate... I can't tell if it's from the lag or not, but I'll shoot at an enemy that's not even moving and miss...

Is anyone else having this problem?

And when I do hit something it feels like it doesn't do very much damage at all.

Crouch down and it steadies your aim alot. I usually can hit a headshot clear as day by crouching. Just don't expect to be able to do it in a populated area.
