It won't work unless you level gate the advanced maps too. That's the next place they'll go.

EDIT: I thought your OP said expert. You'll still have overpowered 5000s speed running on you in the advanced maps though.

While I won't agree with you, I will say this: I'm rather sick of having a fun, nice little battle, only to have it (the game) suddenly turn my fun little scuffle into a life and death situation. All because the threat level jumped from 2 to 10 as a result of an EGO 5,000 player driving by.

Has it been as bad since the last update? I know that when I am on my lower character I will try and race through the daily contracts and hope no one jumps on. Instead of watching for enemies I seem to spend more time glancing at the TL. I go from strategic battle to insta downed otherwise. I've fared a little better as of last night, but still hate to see purple dots show up. I used to welcome them. On the flip side, I've had lower EGOs flee when I am on my higher character and end up doing the event solo. I never leave if I see someone there, since the level is already kicked up. But it would be nice for them to be back up.

I will do expert maps with you whenever you like, as long as they aren't speed runs. My EGO is 5802 and my name in game is DJACK.

So you are seeking people for Advanced mode? I admit to grouping up to do quick run throughs of normal maps we need for contracts and miss getting through out the week. I hate running through with randoms, simply because I feel guilty. I've done it once or twice and decided I'd rather skip than take away from their experience. I remember the battle and it was fun. I just don't want to spend my whole time doing maps.

I wouldn't mind this at all. We actually do clan shoutouts to start maps so we can run through it. People either hang out or leave so we can advance.

You definitely can skip through all three of those. I just think its fair to leave the standard co-ops to low ego players. Especially now with an influx of new players coming. With EGO 5000+ rushing through killing everything with a single bullet, they won't be able to experience the co-ops like we did when we first started playing.

You don't need to be 5k. I was running through them at 2800ish EGO and basically one burst killing everything in short order. It would have been easy--a joke--solo.

I think the better solution is to simply have a beginner co-op map for people with less than 1000 EGO (providing there are enough people now with F2P), even if they have the same mobs as standard. Simply give those people the option of what one they want to go into.
