What was the EGO rating that you upgraded to? Because there is a soft cap on stats for gear around 5500 EGO, so if you level anything past 5500, the boost you will get is VERY minimal.
Only 719 -> 819. Damage stayed at 1604.
I don't think the gap in stats between level ups is that big in that EGO range either. Oh, another thing, did you look at what your damage was before when you had the weapon ready to be leveled up?
Because if you did look at what the damage was when it was in the matrix it would have showed the damage of what it would be at EGO 819. So it would have said 1604 there before you leveled it.
We appreciate you taking the effort to bring this to our attention! I will pass this along, but I want to make sure we're on the same page. When viewing your weapon via the matrix was the damage unchanged in the preview?
It's very likely that's what happened. I have since upgraded 2 greens to blue (since it's cheap) to test and they were fine. Probably my mistake!
Is there anyway to calculate what it should be based on gun model, ego, bonuses & mods? Then I'd know for sure.
For now you can submit a bug report, so our Dev team can ensure your weapon has the intended damage!

We have tried to get Trion to send us info for their EGO scaling but haven't got anything. A few of us did some tests though, and a graph was made of a white weapon leveled up, from EGO 36 to 5736 showing the damage at each level. The graph is posted around here somewhere but a few of the fields are slightly off after one of the hotfixes. I can PM it to ya though if you were interested.
I had already submitted a ticket. I checked the status today and they refunded my ark forge. Don't know if they checked the numbers and found it truly didn't upgrade or if they were just taking me at my word and being nice. Next time I will look at the numbers from inventory, then go to upgrade, & maybe take before pic too!
