As a primary console player (360) and avid RPG lover I am open to this. I do it all the time in Skyrim and Reckoning. I also role play on Guild Wars as well and I look forward to getting together with those who would also like to.

Exactly thank you Aaricane. It doesn't need to be multi for someone to roleplay. I can't say "FUS RO DAH" and cool crap happens. I wish but you know how that goes. Besides I belong to a group on Beth's forums and we write stories of our hero's life.

Besides I belong to a group on Beth's forums and we write stories of our hero's life.

I dont call that roleplaying I call that writing fanfics. imho to roleplay even if youre writing it in text on a forum.. it requires multiple ppl to do


i.e you start off in a forum thread.... someone else replied to add to what you started or continue the story, then you reply back to that with a follow up etc etc

I never really RPed in games too much just occasionally. i find it hard to find guild mate that live in the same time zone or something lol. But i would like to give it a go on the console version we will have to see.

I really want my character to be a good blend of both i guess. god character and good RP character. So if i can find a guild that i can actually have people play when i do ill give it an honest shot and im sure it would probably be RPers who might making a mention in the show. if you really immerse your self in the Defiance world

It's a fine line between Fan Fic and RP forum threads. I know plenty who do both. I personally like coming up with interesting Characters, but I would rather not do Fan Fic for them. So if I post any thing it is always short and sweet, well almost. I had a 3 page post in WOW forums going over my Warlocks background and history. But to me that was back Story which covered Warcraft 2 through Wrath of the Litch King. It was a lot of ground to cover for a gnome.

I also do both. I look forward to trying it out on Defiance. I'm hoping for a good experience no matter what anyone's definition of roleplaying is. I enjoy one off stories and participating in what my friends call a "pass around".
