    Are the servers overloaded or just broken?

    Trying to log in, get to the screen to chose character then goes to loading, in que waiting, then critical error timed out

    Yes. They need to do a restart on the servers, things are not loading at all any more.

    Yep It's bad.
    One other possibility is it's working as intended.
    1.05 shotgun mag boost? REALLY?
    PC/NA&EU, too many toons to list.

    Well they are bringing the servers down for a restart, so I guess someone is watching.

    Yeah I can't get into Defiance either now.... 3 x i've been hit with a critical error.

    Two of them after doing Soleptor & Island of the Lost after finishing them.

    The other just getting into the game.

    The game is in trouble O.o

    6/9/14 - US Server Restart (All Platforms) - 3:40 PM PDT
    Hi all,

    In order to improve the performance of numerous Defiance servers, we are now restarting US servers for all platforms.
    So "in order to improve the performance of the servers"... wouldn't it be better to upgrade them?

    I mean, they will get overloaded again in no time, so no real fix here.
