Is it worth it for me?

Hello all, and thank you in advance for your help.

At launch, I had purchased my copy on the XBox, and played for a good long while before, sadly, having to sell the Xbox. Since the game went F2P this month, I've been looking forward to getting back into it on PC. Is there a way to link my xbox account from there to the PC? I'd rather not lose all of my progress or preferred status. Also, i'm looking at buying the season pass and playing as a Castithan, so would I need to reroll anyway or would the pack let me change my starter human to a Casti?


I suppose the real questions would be, will i need to start all over again regardless (to play as the newer species), and is there any way to not lose out on any perks for switching to PC?

No way to carry over at all. You have to start over.

Remember the thread where someone was in the beginning stages of cross platform testing? Maybe it was PT? Currently there is no way to do so, but I'd keep an eye out in the future, if only to move that character over at a later date.

PhantasieTrion said they were trying to see if they could get it cross platform but its still bugged and unavailable. They had their Xbox character on PC but it wasn't as it should have been.

There we go! I remember that it wasn't working correctly, but that there was at least the beginning stages of testing in the works. I wanted to make sure to note that juuuuuuuuuust in case.

They moved some console players to the PTS but it had to be done manually and was time and labor intensive.
There is nothing in place at this time to transfer accts.

Currently you can not take your character with you, but I was told if you contact customer support, they may be able to transfer your "Old school" status and any bought or pre-ordered goodies. I am not sure, but it is worth a shot to either ask a community person, a dev, or dustomer support.

If you contact support, they can transfer the purchased goodies! Unfortunately, you can't currently transfer your character.
