Well. My pipe to the outside is a 5mbit fiber connection. It's "slow", but it's also low latency (~10ms to ISP), rock solid and not shared with anybody. And this game does not possibly use 5mbits of bandwidth. The fact that the game runs smooth as butter at the START of a major battle and then just abruptly goes into horrible death spasms of brokenness at some point later on, suggests that the problem is not my end.

thats pretty good,my ping is about 47 ms to the nearest large internet part which is in kansas city...you know ive been on this connection for almost 8 years now and still havent figured out what type it is

far as i know,there is some kind of interchange server like thing here in town,as well as more interchange server within the area...all this traffic gets fed into a collection hub that the mythical repairicorn keeps on calling "d-slam",then the d-slam feeds it into the central hub in kansas city

one time afew years back i had perpetual internet lag...so i annoyed centurylink (it was called embarq at the time) until they figured out what the problem was,it turns out some goon was Ddosing the d-slam...as soon as that was figured out,the problem was cleared up within afew days

If you make a thread, and more then 4 people are complaining its lagging, and having same problem. It's not something to do with internet, they need to fix their game.

Here let me help out,

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues.

Please try reinstalling with the media server disabled, could of been corrupted when every one installed the game the first few times.

I have forwarded this concern and we are currently trying to reporduce this issue.We are unable to provide you with resolution to this matter at this or any time in the future.

Is there any thing else we can brush under the carpet for you?

I've been around since launch, the vanishing vehicle nonsense I could live with. This game is unplayable right now, the only reason to have this installed is the world events and a great many players can't take part in those any longer.

The trouble is that if it's not happening to all of the players nothing seems to get fixed.

I live in Austin and started playing again a few days ago (stopped playing for a whole year due to too much problems with the game, I play on the Xbox360 version) anyhoo anytime I get into a WM fight the server seems to buckle and then eventually freeze and kick me also the same thing happen last night with a monolith arkfall, I also have the fastest connection my ISP provides :/

Only lately have I had problems with lag other than getting kicked from a WM . On that note, since we can no longer stockpile daily awards, I REALLY don't appreciate getting booted from WM when I use those ever precious batteries. I blew all 5 available to me over the day and didn't get into ONE WM.

Rant over, now, I have been experiencing lag for the first time. It really just started today. No other online game is lagging. So I doubt it's my side. It caused me to lock up at the end of Explosions 101 and I had to leave match ( I DID get credit for it) then the end of an incursion, Diablo, never ended for me. I had to fast travel away and got no credit. Could pick anything up and long after the timer was at zero I was being attacked. After a few mins the synthesizers 'blew up' but the mobs just kept coming.

I just started playing this game due to it being a free to play, and while I'm enjoying it, I have had this freeze then disconnect issue happen 5 times in the past 24 hours. I was all ready last night to drop $20 on my first in game currency purchase so I could buy some extra slots and such, when I remembered the disconnects and thought I'd better stay F2P a little longer to see how bad it was. Gave them my CC info and everything, came short of clicking confirm. A few hours ago I was traveling with a large group hunting some kind of mutant screaming women all over the place, until we ended up at a town and had to defend wave after wave. Huge personal score for me, then the disconnect. I was frustrated beyond belief to see on my relog that the score was reset. Ended up getting back just in time to see the last wave.
Anyway, I'll be hanging on to my money and checking back periodically to see if the game is working or not.
I just cant justify paying for this until it actually works like its supposed to. I truly hope they fix it, it seems like a fun game.
