I'm getting so dang tired of everyone thinking they should get for free what others, myself included, paid for when the game launched, or even before. It's $30.. get over yourself and buy the DLC's to have full access to all the content. If you don't want to, then stop complaining that it's not all "free for me!".. no F2P game is totally free access anywhere. Get over yourself.
Well i like the Rift F2P model. If you want the new souls you must buy it. But all the content is free. What i'm trying to say is, all the instances, quests and maps must be free. I don't have any objections to buy the new races, cars, more loadouts, more bag space, and patron passes, wardrobe, more character slots and other stuff. But all the rest must be free. I buyed Rift, i paid the sub, buyed the expansion when Rift goes F2P i was happy, i never said to the F2P gamers "Hey if you want to access to Tempest Bay pay the expansion!!". So Trion, please make the content Free (all the instances, quests). I spent more money now in Rift F2P than before and Trion can see what i'm saying is the truth.
Well.. that's all good and jim dandy. I myself alpha, beta, and pre-ordered Rift, as well as it's expansion, so I'm quite familiar with the model they used. However, even there, I was one of the vocal people that said giving it all away for free was UNFAIR to those who paid for it. And frankly, let's be honest here, it is. I can't think of a single game out there where there's no gates or restrictions on the F2P model for players that choose it to be free players. This is the standard way that F2P works. We give you a taste, if you want more, you know where the bit store is.
Your so cool! Its F2P all the content should be free, what hard to understand about the change. yes we should have the same stuff as you, beside if anything was bough in the market.
Saying it should be free doesn't magically make it so. All free-to-play means is that you don't have to pay an entry fee to play the core game. Period. Nothing you say changes that fact. It's pretty clear from the way they have packaged certain micro-transaction items that the company has no intention of making the Season 1 DLC free for the foreseeable future.

Do people not understand that they get MOST DLC CONTENT FREE? Honestly enough with the crying about it lol. If anybody should be upset about Dlc distribution its the people who paid for it and got very little more from it than people who didn't.
