Same issue here cant stop dying and my vehicle spawns across the map.
Why does everyone think that it is ok for major problems like this to exist on a launch day. If you bought a brand new car would you be ok if it didnt run for a week after paying for it upfront? If you paid for a house would you be ok if the electrical didnt work or the power company said itll be a week before you can get power? canders is right. i cant believe i have yet to get past the patch page and ive been trying all day. im on xbox and it just says patch failed. ive reinstalled the game,cleared cache and nothing. if i spend my money on your game i expect it to work. even if there are some problems i would not mind that it is expected, but not being able to play at all is ridiculous.
Im not saying trion is a bad company or that every game wont have its issues but not even being able to download the patch or heck even knowing IF THE PATCHER IS WORKING OR NOT. Thats my issue, a total and complete lack of info which I have come to expect better from trion for being a long term Rift supporter.
Actually Rawkfist, my girlfriend just bought a new car this summer and had to take it back a couple weeks later for a firmware update. Also, you should be checking a new house to make sure rework isn't needed... that's kind of a standard home owner thing, as with everything problems arise from time to time.
