If you notice there is never one for sale in that section of the forums. No one hardly ever sells them in Zone chat. They don't drop very often now, and people are keeping the ones they have.

Gun is awesome. Don't blame them. I only let one of mine go if I get one with a better synergy.

I have to admit, I was pretty jazzed to see one drop for me last night especially after remembering what you posted about it hours earlier. Hell, I'm even happy with the nano that it came with.

It's nothing magical. As part of 2.0 NSFW patch points are awarded for breaking armor plates. These points scale based on the health of the enemy. So breaking armor plates on a skitterling is not worth much. On the warmaster it's about 8k per plate with a 20k bonus for the last plate. At threat 10 the warmaster has 8 plates so there are ~76K points up for grabs whenever the warmaster has armor plates (at the start and after every wall hang). Fast firing bio weapon = lots of points.

    Edit for on topic:
As of patch 1.5 EGO does matter. I don't think people want to admit this but it does. There is about a 50% base damage bonus between a 5K ego gun and a 5.5K ego gun with the same specs. When you apply the rest of the possible bonuses (overcharge, damage spike, fire proc, radiation proc, skill bonus, perk bonuses) to this it makes a huge difference in DPS.

I LOVE my Springer with Bio. It has 123 in the mag and I don't have to reload until after the WM/Monolith finishes their cowtowing move. I've switched it up with a Radiation LMG for the WM, though. The damage is awesome. But I ALWAYS run around with my Trusty Springer in the open world and in coops. Does some decent damage in PvP too.

Eaglepowers, the next time you see them just do a quick inspect. You will see what weapons as well as perks. That's going to give you an idea on what they are doing. I have a few friends who are always on top and I consider them the heavy hitters. Massive damage, massive points. Breaking armor, etc... they all factor in. I get a higher placement on the leaderboard (for whatever that's worth) with my LMG than I do with my Springer, so it also could be what nano is used. My lower character uses a Fire VBI SMG and usually gets a decent amount of points. Teamwork for sure because of the fire. I also have a Radiation Ultimag on him.

The Soleptor Vendor has Votan Pulsers which being a faction vendor have higher base damage. There is a fire one you can buy directly or get a box and pray to the RNG gods for one you like.

The scaling curve has been made much more regular than it was initially, so I don't think the difference between 5k and 5.5k is quite that high anymore.

A friend said this person constantly switches loadouts to milk points. I honestly don't know or care. I just know it's a problem and when others start doing it it'll completely ruin WM runs. My hats off to the person for figuring it out and I don't blame them for milking it hard. I think this is the single most impressive exploit I have seen yet.

Our heavy hitters Kiera, Arkist, Infinity E, etc... get less than half this person's score so it's not as simple as breaking armor plates. We are talking 4mil+ on every run! and typically 2nd place is 1/3 the score. This person has thrown the gauntlet down hard.

Tekrunner- I didn't report it but it should be looked into. Won't be hard to spot in PCNA.

Dev- please please please change WM back to point damage. WM should only be about defeating him and not about milking points. All other events are for that. The new scoring is for promoting group play and this goes against it completely!

Yeah, the only guns that I own with a 123+ round mag would be either one of the LMGs in my inventory. The Springer would be right behind them with its 111 round mag.

I think there is something else we are missing for the point system too besides the armor breaking. I have got 4 million a couple times but just barely broke it. My loadout is the same i would use under the old score system (needler and ranger). When I saw the 5 mill score I was scratching my head, not sure on that one.

Edit - should have said 400K

I've brought this up a few times (and earlier in the thread), and it's been downplayed. Perhaps a lot of these people haven't leveled up EGO under the new system. I've gone one character to 5500 under it, and several to nearly 1k Plus. What I said holds true. EGO with all the factors taken into consideration makes a huge DPS difference; especially, when comparing a 5k+ EGO player with requisite weapons, to someone well below 4750.
