    So... Thoughts?

I watched the 14 minute video of the TV show Ill tune and see how it goes so far it looks pretty good.

made me curious about the game.. I play a lot of mmo's but a little burned out of rails MMO's and im not much for twich play, my reflexes arent what they used to be.

If i wanted to play a pve'ish, see new things in a sandbox kind of game would I be disappointed in defiance?

Ive watched a few twich feeds and each one seems to be battlegroup based? is there no free roam area?

the world is basically open area. But you can queue for instance group matchmaking after a certain lvl. It is more pve centric than pvp altho there is pvp minigames.

The feel/style is somewhat Borderlands with a bit of Fallout.

People complain to much imo. I find the game pretty fun. Theres a lot to do, and the fact that it follows a tv show, makes me actually wanna watch and follow that show. So it's kind of exciting. Just did my first Episode mission in the game. I think that is a quest that has something to do with the TV show. If you deside to buy the game though, you should know that the chat and social aspect in the game is pretty lame atm. But I hope they do something about that.

I would agree with this. I'm completely happy with my purchase and find the game extremely fun, there's a few things we hope get fix but it just launched so that's normal. I think the game is quite enjoyable on its own and if you plan to watch the show like i do then you'll be in for quite a fun deep experience.
Don't be insulted because i don't wanna explain myself, i was probably joking anyway.

It's a shooter with bling. Don't expect the bling to be a Faberge egg in RPG aspects and you should be fine

It's pretty repetitive and flawed at the moment, but that's most likely due to it being new. I'm still having fun though. If you aren't sure if you want to buy it I'd recommend waiting for a while and seeing how well they fix their problems before making that decision.
