Lol, I felt the same. The sound of a new vehicle sounded interesting but after seeing it, and driving it. Eh...well what can I say? A dull, grey vehicle. Regardless of changing it's color scheme, it just seems uninspiring, and uninteresting. I guess I was expecting different variations of people designing a vehicle more suited to the area. I guess I always assumed the land was ripped apart from the terraformers, along with various hostile species, the vehicles would be cobbled together with various pieces and parts, not looking like dusty stock bodies. *shrug*
I suppose one of those special versions will be...There will also be special versions that can be acquired other ways! However, these ways also don't involve bits.

Yes, but don't forget about the Dodge partnership. Cars in the show and the game have to look like the current models or that wouldn't work. They just add a bit of mud and dust so that they don't look too much out of place, and come up with reasons to explain why there are so many of them left ("OMG, an intact warehouse filled with MILLIONS of Challengers! How convenient!").

that would be better, ,I would like to have a vehicle you can shoot from or drives through deeper water and have a map opened up to do this on.
on a second note why do I always have to use the turbo at some point to make the vehicle go fast. does every road have a 30mph speed limit in to the car and you have to hit turbo to get over the hump
