So you listened to a gamestop employee about the state of the Trion world game servers? I am pretty sure there is a thread around here talking about server status that can be checked from time to time. Further more, they just went into season 2, I highly doubt they will close the servers down for good when there is so much potential money they can be earning.

That guy is an idiot.

The game is going free which means no more copies of it will be sold soon. But the servers are not going down. He just assumes that because they are pulling the game off shelves soon. Ignore that guy and find a copy to buy for cheap, either by talking to a different gamestop employee or going elsewhere.

Well, to be fair, I guess the universe may eventually collapse upon itself, which wouldn't bode well for the servers. At the same time, maybe the universe is flat and will continue to expand forever, which would be great news for the servers!

Either way, theres no plans to take the servers down.

A popular belief is that the Universe is like a Slinky in that it will keep expanding until it can no longer do so, and THEN collapse in on itself... By the fact the universe to this day is still expanding faster by the day, we can then say the universe will take another 14 billion years + to collapse in on itself...

On a less serious note: Gamestop employees talking about the state of gaming, is kinda like Starbucks employees telling us about coffee bean fields... Yeah, not the best source of info lol.
