LOL chose warlock, so did most of us. Tonight I'll start a new warrior tho, the other 2 seems to be fighter classes. I want to compare.
Max level is still 8, one of my friends got that far. I got to within a hair of level 5.

I guess it would be a good idea to move the discussion over to the forums that can be found at bungie.net. There is also a "Destiny Companion" app that I downloaded to my iphone as well. It has forums, blogs, MAPS, all kinds of stuff and not a giant app like GTA's is.
Side note: lots of whining and crap going on over there too...these forums are all the same. LOL

You could literally hit max level in probably no more than 2 weeks. That's my guesstimate on the high end. Then you grind for rep cores just like this game. You do sieges (arkfalls). The beta server is very stable with zero, I repeat ZERO lag and most importantly ZERO disconnects.
Just watching some beta game play and liking what I see and what I can't see.
The screen has minimal screen clutter.
People who played the alpha are "complaining" a bit that 8 levels is the max for beta as well as alpha. My understanding is on 7/23 they will be adding more levels and things to do, unlocking stuff.
Also the alpha players report that beta is giving them blurred motion. I'm not sure what that means but I haven't experienced anything unpleasant.
I'm on PC, so no Destiny to me. "sulk"
I'm playing an increasing amount of Firefall instead, and I'm still considering Warframe. And The Division is coming as well, some time in the future.
Defiance really need to pick up its pace if it wants to survive the onslaught.

They won't hear any complaints from me... there was no intro video to be found in the alpha, and they pretty much just dropped you off in Old Russia at a level 3.
It was pretty much like: "Here you go, play our alpha. Run off and shoot some stuff." LOL
As an alpha tester, I have no idea what this "blurred motion" term is they're talking about.
