Defiance on the PS4/4th Gen Playstation?

SONY has just announced they will be announcing something on Feb 20 and all fingers point to the Next Playstation Console so what are TRION's plans for the next gen of consoles including the XBOX "Durango"

You do know your asking something that Trion can't give an answer to since that would be against their agreement with sony and microsoft to tell anyone at this point what their consoles consist of lol. No developer can tell the public what sony and microsoft have for next gen consoles until they publicly say. So it's all up in the air if the systems will be backwards compatible or Trion will release the game again updated for them.

It will be ported over to the ps4 same as DCUO however they can't officially tell us that yet but recently a dev did slip up in a live pod cast and mentioned longevity of DCUO and porting over to the Ps4.

im 99% positive they will port it and already have outlined plans.

Honestly unless they squash some of the rumors ive heard for long time about no more used games and no discs anymore i wont be buying a next gen ill just build a new pc. Defiance is first game i have bought new in almost a year now. Especially if there going to up prices on games for 70-80 a pop for next gen. Plus i live in a little town in mountains we have DSL but when it comes to downloading large files it takes days up here to do so.

To be honest I don't think it's going to be the Playstation 4. Sony president has stated that they plan on supporting the PS3 through 2015. I think we will so more info on the PS4 at E3 this year, same with the new XboX. I can say this.

Developers do have dev kits for the next playstation and the next xbox. The playstation dev kit is code named: Project Orbis. That's about all I can share.

And PS2 was supported pretty much to last year (machine wise, games the year before) It has to be the PS4 or a new Super Thin TV we don't want.

Umm you do know that just because a new console comes out doesnt mean the old one suddenly stops getting supported right? ps3 came out in 2006 yet PS2 was still getting GOOD games up until 2008 and PS2 just officially died in December 2012 sooo yeah
