So far I'm very happy with the game, everything has been fun so far. I haven't had any bad issues with the game functioning, yet. The few patches that came out on launch day actually made me happy because it means they are actively watching and working on it and won't hesitate to fix an issue or change something the community asks for, like ammo boxes and large arkfalls. I'm assuming this game will grow as the episodes come out, per episode tie-ins maybe? They announced that there will be free and pay DLC's. Trion did great with releasing content for Rift so I trust they will do the same here. So anyone that thinks the game lacks features or content, stick around and see what they add.

I am happy after so many gaming let downs in the last few years I try to not get too over hyped about new games. I played the beta PC and xbox like it enough to buy. It's not going to change the world but I enjoy it and that is what counts

I like it. Like many persistent world games (avoiding the MMO tag) only time will tell though. It's rough on some edges (interface) and itemization is a bit lacking in diversity. But these things can be tweaked.

Hell, she got pissy with me last night because I threw it in and started installing/patching before we started watching TV. It took me like 5 minutes TOPS to finish that and let it sit while we watched TV. Really? You're going to ***** about that!?
Hahahahahaha. Dude, thats totally my life at times. But my wife finally got used to the fact that Im a gamer. Get over it. She gets home from work around 3:30-4. I get home closer to 5. Between dinner, playing with my daughter, getting her ready for bed and any chores to do around the house, it is now 7:30-8pm. Kid goes to sleep, wife retreats to facebook and 'Moms corner' type of websites. ER, OK I'll hop on the computer and shoot at things.

    Tidy arrangement these days.

I know what youre going through haha.

I love the game and am extremely happy with my purchase! It is not often that I can say I had fun in an MMO on launch day for one, and having played many an MMO, I know a lot can change from Vanilla, even more so from the first day. So a game that I enjoy from day one? Yes... definitely happy I bought the game.

At first I got bored fast. Now I'm getting "addicted" like I used to be to WoW. Its only been a few days but I can't wait to find my next really nice weapon, to unlock the perfect combination of passives, to find out where this story goes, to visit the locations I see on the map that I just haven't gone to yet, to find where people are buying these buggy cars and buy one for myself, etc. etc..

Basically I keep trying to find excuses for why its like every other MMO I've bought and played and left since I "quit" WoW (including WoW itself, which I have gone back to many times but never for more than a few weeks / months). It isn't though. It feels just right, I hope it is finally what I've been looking for in a MMO - the perfect fit.

I am happy I bought the game. Having fun playing with friends and enjoying the story and lore a lot. I spent over 300 hrs playing RIFT so I know Trion will fix bugs up and add a lot more content on a regular basis.

For me I look at games this way. Games are a form of entertainment so If I can get a ROI of at least $2 per hr of entertainment then I am happy with my purchase. If I get $1 or less per hour then I am really happy with the game. I never buy games that I am sure I will not get at least the $2 an hr ROI. So far I have played 20 hrs and I expect that I will hit my sweet spot of 60 hrs played and maybe even more.
